1.1. These Terms of Use set out the rules for the provision of electronic services via the web application QuietLLM, available at: https://quietllm.com, hereinafter referred to as the “Application”.
1.2. The owner and operator of the Application is MPR Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw (03-707), ul. Floriańska 6/2, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 12th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under number 0000788188, NIP: PL5783137225, REGON: 383450634.

2.1. QuietLLM is a browser-based AI application that allows users to interact with OpenAI language models via a minimalist interface optimized for e-ink displays.
2.2. The Application operates locally within the user’s browser without any server-side data processing. The settings synchronization feature ("Cloud Sync") is optional and must be activated by the user.
2.3. In order to use the Application, the user must have their own OpenAI API key. The Service Provider does not offer access to OpenAI models.
2.4. QuietLLM provides a 14-day free trial period. Continued use of the Application beyond this period requires the purchase of a license.
3.1. The following are required to use the Application:
- an up-to-date web browser (recommended: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge),
- an active internet connection,
- a valid OpenAI API key with access to chat.completions

- for Cloud Sync – a valid email address and a one-time login code.
3.2. The Service Provider shall not be held responsible for any lack of compatibility between the Application and the user's device.
4.1. After the trial period ends, the user may purchase a lifetime license to continue using the Application.
4.2. The license is:
- non-exclusive,
- non-transferable,
- valid for an indefinite period (subject to section 4.5),
- limited to personal use in accordance with the intended functionality of the Application.
4.3. The following are strictly prohibited:
- sharing the Application with third parties,
- reselling or sublicensing the Application,
- reverse engineering, decompiling, modifying, or circumventing security measures.
4.4. The Service Provider reserves the right to update, modify, or remove certain features of the Application without notice, provided such changes do not materially impair the core functionality.
4.5. In the event the service is discontinued due to economic, technological, or legal reasons (e.g., dissolution of MPR Sp. z o.o. or termination of the QuietLLM project), the Service Provider shall not be obligated to continue providing the service, even for users with a lifetime license. The user acknowledges and accepts this possibility.
5.1. The Application serves as a tool for interacting with OpenAI models. The Service Provider is not responsible for the content generated by such models or how it is interpreted or used by the user.
5.2. The user uses the Application at their own risk, particularly with respect to:

6.1. Users may file complaints regarding the functioning of the Application or the license purchase process.

6.3. Complaints will be reviewed within 14 business days from the date of receipt.
7.1. If a license is purchased by a consumer (natural person), they have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the purchase – provided the license has not been activated.
7.2. Once the license is activated, the user loses the right to withdraw, in accordance with Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014.

8.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms. Changes take effect upon publication.
8.3. Continued use of the Application following the introduction of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
